Build a short typing routine using the working test above. Complete seven separate practice days: one baseline, five practice days and one final comparison. You can take longer than a week if you miss a day.
Start at a comfortable pace and watch the letters you miss. If the same keys keep slowing you down, try targeted practice. The keyboard exercises and beginner path can help you work on a smaller part of the keyboard.
Completed runs count their measured typing time. Reading this page or leaving a paused test open does not count. A practice day needs two minutes; the baseline and final tests each need one minute. Progress is saved in this browser, so return on the same device and browser.
Copy the group invitation above and share the link with participants. Everyone gets the same seven-step routine, while each person tracks their own progress on their own device. Ask participants to share their final results if your activity includes a group comparison.
Try the Daily challenge to compare performance on one shared text. The one-minute test and untimed practice guide are available for a different practice pace.
A higher WPM with lower accuracy is a different outcome from a clean run. The final comparison shows both measures, including a slower result if that is what you record. Two short tests can vary; use repeated runs with matching settings to judge a longer-term trend.
This plan does not promise a particular WPM gain. See the scoring formulas and research and sources for more context.

Pick up where you left off. The challenge counts seven separate practice days and does not reset when you miss a day. Several runs on the same day still count as one practice day.
There is no guaranteed speed gain. Compare accuracy as well as WPM, and repeat tests with matching settings to understand your progress. Two short test scores can vary.
